God took a man (Adam) and without a woman, He brought
forth a woman out of whom would come the image of the first Adam.
Then God took a woman (the Virgin Mary) and without a man, He
brought forth a man out of whom would come the image of the Last
Adam.
In the 11th chapter of Matthew, Jesus was speaking about
John the Baptist. Referring to John He said, "Of men born
of women there is none greater than John the Baptist, but the
least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he." Men have
not understood what Jesus was talking about here. For until Jesus
came, there was only one man in the earth, the many-membered corporate
man, Adam. And all the people of the earth, including John the
Baptist, were born of woman. They were, in fact, born of Eve,
the Mother of all living. But when Jesus arrived on the earth,
He was not of the race of Adam. He was a new creation, the creation
of God. In fact, Revelation chapter 3 tells us He was the beginning
of the creation of God. He was the new creation man, the Last
Adam, the second Man (1 Cor. 15:45).
God put Adam on the earth and told him to multiply and
replenish the earth. So Adam in his fallen state began to multiply
himself upon the earth. Cain, Abel, and all that followed, including
John the Baptist, were not the second or third man, but simply
an extension of the first man. In other words, Adam was quickly
becoming a many-membered corporate man. Until Jesus came, there
was only one man on the earth multiplied into millions of different
expressions.
Then Jesus came. And God gave Him the same commission that
He had given Adam earlier, "multiply yourself and fill the
earth with your own kind." So Jesus came, saying, "The
corn of wheat must fall into the ground and die and bring forth
a great harvest." Out of the life of Jesus Christ, men began
to be born again. Born this time not of woman, but of man. The
least of those born of this Man was greater than the greatest
of those born of woman. Kings and priests, they are destined to
rule with Jesus Christ forever. Of the increase of His government
there is no end, and the revelation of the glories of His Kingdom
keep growing in our hearts.
To some, the knowledge of Jesus only means a mansion in
the sky or a cabin in the corner, or perhaps a crown, robe, and
harp. But to some who are pressing on in God, the knowledge of
the person of Christ in itself is greater riches than all the
treasures of earth and heaven, and all which can be imagined in
the mind. That many-membered son who is being birthed out of the
life of Jesus Christ into the image of the Son of God Himself
is going to be the crowning triumph of God's creation. He will
put them on exhibit in the ages to come, proving thereby the wisdom
of God in all that He has brought about since the fall of Adam.
Yes, men born of women have done some marvelous things,
brought forth amazing inventions. But at the same time, they have
brought this world into utter chaos and devastation. But the world
has never been able to dream of things which are going to be brought
forth by those who are being born out of the new creation man.
Their first major accomplishment will be the restoration of all
creation. Thus will be the destiny of those born of the man Christ
Jesus, the new creation, the Last Adam.
So raise your sights, saints of God. Stop bickering about
non-essentials. Stop splitting hairs and dividing the Body of
Christ over nit-picking questions of no consequence. The stakes
are much higher than your doctrinal differences. Man born of woman
is full of trouble, but man born of Man shall reign forever with
Jesus Christ their Lord.
